We are delighted to receive another Gold Medal from the Central Coast Wine Competition this year for our most recent Primitivo (zinfandel) blend. Every release of this wine has had this honor!
Aged in 20% Hungarian oak for 2 years, this blend of Primitivo with Syrah and Cabernet Franc offers strawberry rhubarb pie on the nose with hints of violets. Bold, dark red fruits, notedly plum, spicy berries, currants and fresh fig dance lively on the pallet as black pepper. Soft tannins finish with an herbal essence that will only improve with age.
